Mr. Lu Yuping, born in 1958, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Daxinganling, Heilongjiang Province. Because of his belief in Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, he was sentenced to 14 years in prison. On May 30, 2009, he died in Tailai Prison, where he had been subjected to numerous tortures.
